Changes in Taxation for Credit Card Payment Acceptance

We are informing you about changes in the fee calculation procedure effective from January 1, 2026. In accordance with changes in tax legislation, banking services for accepting card payments (internet acquiring) will be subject to 22% VAT.

Payment processing costs will be divided as follows:

  • Paysto Commission: remains at the same level and is not subject to VAT.
  • Bank Commission: 22% VAT will be added to the current bank interest rate (applicable only to bank card transactions).

Calculation Example for a 10,000 Ruble Payment:
(assuming a bank rate of 3.5% and a Paysto rate of 1.5%)

  • Paysto Commission: 150 rubles (not subject to VAT).
  • Bank Commission: 350 rubles + 22% VAT (77 rubles) = 427 rubles.
  • Total commission amount: 577 rubles.

Important:

  • VAT is applied to the bank commission, not to the total payment amount.
  • VAT will not be charged for payments processed via SBP, SberPay, or T-Pay. Using these methods allows you to maintain operating expenses at their current level.

These changes will take effect automatically on January 1, 2026. Technical support and transaction monitoring will continue to operate 24/7.
