Regulations for Processing Payments Using Bank Cards

Dear clients,
The regulations for processing payments using bank cards come into force on August 5, 2015.
Note that the blocking periods for incoming payments made using VISA and MasterCard bank cards will be changed from today:

 

  • 100% of the payment amount for 10 calendar days for payments made with cards issued in: Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine.
  • 100% of the payment amount for 14 calendar days for payments made with cards issued by banks of any country other than those listed above.

And a blocking policy in case of suspected fraud is introduced:

  • Increased blocking period for suspicious payments;
  • Disconnection of the store for a large number of high-risk incoming payments (suspected fraud), and for repeated violations, blocking of withdrawal of any funds from the Paysto client account.
The minimum blocking period for all payments for ActivateTo and FundingTo will be 3 calendar days. The blocking period for all payments for OnlineMerchant will be 9 days from the date of delivery, and for UpBalance - 3 days from the date of receipt.
